Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use this website or book a job with The Handyman Van, a service of Keystone Built LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By booking, you agree to these terms.
Service area
We serve West Georgia and East Alabama. Our current hub is Carrollton, Georgia. We may decline bookings outside our service area.
Booking requests
Sending a booking request through this website does not guarantee an appointment. Your booking is a request until we confirm it with you by phone, text or email.
Deposit and cancellations
- A flat $85 deposit holds your appointment spot, no matter how many jobs you book.
- The deposit is applied to your final bill.
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment, the deposit is fully refunded.
- If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, the deposit is kept.
Payment
The balance of your bill is due after the work is completed. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
Menu items, sizes and quotes
- Menu items that say "up to" a number of items assume standard items. Large, heavy or tricky items may count as more than one item or may need a quick quote.
- For bigger jobs, we confirm the price from a photo before we arrive.
- The price never changes on site without your OK. If something unexpected comes up, the tech stops and quotes it before doing extra work.
Materials and parts
Materials and parts are billed as quoted to you.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about the job, your address and how to reach you.
- Make sure we can get into the work area at the scheduled time.
- Keep pets secured while we work.
- Make sure working utilities (such as water and power) are available as the job needs, and tell us where the shutoffs are.
Work we don't do
We do not perform work that requires a license we don't hold, such as major electrical, plumbing or structural work. We may decline or stop any job that falls outside our scope or that we believe is unsafe. If we can't do a job as booked, we'll tell you.
Workmanship concerns
If you have a concern about our work, please tell us within a reasonable time, such as 30 days after the job. We will work with you to make it right.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or problems with items or materials you provide. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Georgia law.
Website
Prices and information on this website may change. We try to keep everything accurate, but errors can happen. A price is final once we confirm it with you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Carroll County, Georgia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. The terms in effect when you book apply to that booking.
